An Opportunity to Give Back

Many of us have attended outdoor retreats at Joanie's beautiful property.  Now we have an opportunity to help keep this landscape healthy and beautiful.  Joanie's magnificent pond is being overrun by an invasive plant which is killing the water lilies.  We are invited to take a small boat or kayak into the pond and meditatively pull up the unwanted visitors.  What a peaceful and pleasant service this is!  This is an ongoing problem and we are welcome to come at any time throughout the summer.  It is important, however, to get instructions and arrange your visits with Joanie.  Please use our contact form to let Joanie know you'd like to help.  Please include a phone number so that she can contact you with more details.

Introduction to Meditation
6:30pm every first Monday

Please join us on the first Monday of every month at 6:30pm for a brief introduction to the practice of sitting meditation, prior to our regular sit at 7:00.  You are invited to come even if you can't stay for the 7:00 sit.

Intentions Support Group
6:30pm every second Monday

This support group is a space for us to share about our current intentions in our spiritual practice, and how carrying out those intentions in our daily life is going and to garner accountability and support from our fellow sangha-mates.  Katie will facilitate this group when Brian is out of town, and he will facilitate when he is with us.  Meet promptly at 6:30 in the small room adjacent to the main sitting room at the Tibetan Center; then we can join the main sitting group at 7 p.m.
